The Casal da Catarina Solar Park, located in Santarém, is in the final stages of construction and is almost ready to begin operations. The project represents another important milestone in GreenVenture's commitment to delivering efficient and innovative renewable energy solutions.
With an installed capacity of 1.968 MWp, the solar park features 3,328 photovoltaic modules mounted on trackers. By following the sun's movement throughout the day, tracker systems maximise solar capture, increasing energy yield and improving the overall performance of the asset. Once operational, the project will generate enough clean electricity to supply approximately 1,250 households each year.
