GreenVenture has started construction of the São Pedro de Sarracenos Solar Project, bringing more clean energy and lasting value to the Trás-os-Montes region.
Construction has officially begun on the São Pedro de Sarracenos Solar Project in Bragança, marking another important milestone in GreenVenture's commitment to expanding clean energy generation in Portugal. The project represents a significant step towards harnessing the renewable potential of the Trás-os-Montes region and supporting the country's energy transition.
With a total grid connection capacity of 2.6 MVA and an installed peak capacity of approximately 3.2 MWp, the three Small Production Units (UPPs) will deploy around 5,304 photovoltaic modules (605 W), generating an estimated 5.4 GWh of clean electricity per year—enough to supply the annual electricity needs of approximately 1,400 to 1,500 households.
By transforming project development into reality, GreenVenture continues to deliver renewable energy solutions that create long-term environmental, economic, and social value for local communities and the energy sector.
